Bear Lake PerfectionAn amazing October reflection in the famous Bear lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. we got into the park at 1 am the night before, and waking up for sunrise meant only sleeping for about 3 hours as we got up at 4 am. This day was a long 10-mile hike, but it was one of the best hikes I have ever done.
Longs PerfectionAn insane sunset above a lake in the valley between Longs peak and Twin sisters.
Willow's PeaceWe started this hike the night before in hopes of capturing the big three (sunset, milky way, sunrise), but the storms prevented the first two from happening. We survived the overnight as it rained and stormed nonstop. The morning wasn't any better, but I still got out of the tent to see if I could get anything. To my surprise, the clouds opened up for about 3 minutes before starting up another storm.
Longs on FireMy favorite photograph I have taken of Longs. I woke up at 5am from the boulder field and started rock scrambling up to the ridge line connecting Lady Washington and Longs. The smoke from the Utah wildfire created an insane red and orange glow on the peak, rather than the traditional alpenglow. I then climbed back down to go have breakfast with my friends at the boulder field.
Columbine FallsWe had a 4 am wake up and a 3 mile hike to chasm lake from our camp, It was hard to breath because of the smoke, but after sunrise the wind picked up and cleared out the air. I climbed down to the middle of most picturesque waterfall is the park and took this photograph.
Moody Copeland falls The second main waterfall hikers see when the start a hike at the end of the wild basin road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The overcast skies created a beautiful moody and stormy forest vibe in this photograph.
Trio Falls FlowersPossibly the hardest named waterfall to reach in the entire park, it took my friends and I over 3k feet of elevation gain with 50-pound packs to get here.

Ouzel's MistThe morning mountain wind was spraying this waterfall all over the forest, so I waited for it to die down and captured this nice image of the falls.
Gem of the San JuansLower blue lakes seen from above. A thunderstorm rolled in right before this photograph.
Dream StreamPerhaps the most visited lake in the park. This photograph is of the stream draining Dream Lake
Green and PurpleA set of flowers on the shoreline on the famous blue lake in the San Juans. I like this image because it shows some snow that was left over from the lightest winter Colorado has ever seen. This hike has gone to a permit system, and this was my last chance to see it without papers.
Ranch in the CloudsTaken in the high country of Rocky Mountain National Park during late fall, this photograph depicts the classic western style fence seen across the ranches of the west.
Glacier freezeLake Haiyaha in RMNP. The beautiful green colorful is from glacier flour. The glacier breaks down rocks into a fine silt and that turns the water an amazing color.
Falls Last Light The sunset in RMNP duirng the colder months are superior to any seen during the summer. This was taken in late fall right before winter. This was my favorite sunset I have ever seen in Colorado. The sun hitting the clouds creates a lighting effect.
